With over 25 years of experience in the micrographic and security information management environment Dectel has provided businesses both large and small with a range of products, services and solutions to overcome image management problems.
Dectel have continued to provide solutions for both security image management and document management to major organizations for the past 24 years.
With a wealth of experience in traditional imaging systems, Dectel have applied their knowledge to build an understanding of today’s rapidly evolving industry. Dectel recognize client requirements and apply the available technologies to deliver the right solution.
In Security Image Management and Processing Dectel is a market leader, supplying over 60% of the UK Banks, Building Societies, Retail and Transport and the Police. As an independent service provider Dectel’s quality audit programme offers impartial advice of the images produced from all types of surveillance installations.
Dectel also, developed leading edge face recognition technology systems to enhance the value of clients’ investment in CCTV, creating a new generation of ‘Smart’ CCTV.
In Document Management Dectel has again been at the forefront, designing & developing systems to match the specific requirements of Dectel’s clients, using proven software solutions. Clients include major Oil and Construction companies, Banks, Insurance organisations, Solicitors, Hospitals and National Health Trusts, large Utilities and Councils.

Intruder Alarm System
External security
1. Site is fenced with weld mesh fencing, topped with triple strand barbed wire and coiled razor wire.
2. Front door is secured with two deadlocks. Rear entry and side entry fire doors are metal lined, secured with seven-lever dead locks, security bolts and hinge bolts.
3. Front door, porch and ground floor windows are fitted with laminated glass; all frames have internal steel reinforcement and steel retaining straps.
4. Daytime access is controlled by PAC door entry keys.
5. Halogen lamps with movement detectors are fitted externally to the side and rear of the building.
6. Exterior and Interior covered by a 24 hour CCTV digital recording system.
Internal security and fire detection
1. An intruder alarm system and fire detection system are installed and linked to a central station.
2. Optical smoke detectors fitted to critical areas. All fire detection and protection systems exceed Fire Brigade Certification requirements.
3. Security and fire detection systems are on full maintenance contracts with regular scheduled inspections and short call-out times.
4. Monthly internal inspection of all security and fire detection systems.
